Hi folks just to let you know
the Hospice have re assessed Cath and she is to
remain in the hospice till further notice. As you
know her condition has deteriorated over the past
week or so. Thankfully they have re considered.

Hi folks. Just to update you
re Cath. She was due to go home today from the
Hospice but they have allowed her a few more days
there.. Visited her yesterday and spoke to Ray
tonight. Cath quite chirpy and eating well'. I have
asked Ray to keep in touch with Kerry re possible
'going home date'. Both enjoy any visitation and
need our support at this time. Ray again is
thankful for the help support and visits and I know
Cath looks forward to visits. She still doesn't like
onions or spicy food!!! But Ray's partia

Cath will be discharged to
home on 13th August. Visitors are more than welcome
at any time. Kerry Mills will be involved in her
care.
Efro is back in the UK
at the moment as her mother passed away this week.
Our deepest sympathy goes to all her family.

Hi folks, Ray would like to
thank all the visitors to Cath over the weekend. He
says Cath really enjoyed seeing so many and
certainly cheered her up. I would ask all of you if
you can come up with suitable day/night/ location
where we can all meet up some time over the next
week when we can 'pool' our collective knowledge re
'home care' for Cath when she comes home from
Hospice. Ray a bit down today when I spoke to him.
I think 'realisation' is setting in. I appreciate we
all have other 'lives' to be getting on with but I
would certainly appreciate any support we can give
them at this time. Take care and 'be nice to each
other'.

Sorry for
the delay in updating. Following a number of falls Cath is
in Limassol General - 4th floor Room 6. Had a good night
last night but no decision has been made as to whether and
when she will be transferred to Nicosia.. Unlikely
that she will move anywhere before Monday. Sylvia say Reg is
looking worn out but at least he is having a bit of a rest
at the moment.
Brenda's husband is also
in Limassol General having various rests done.
Mo is doing well after her
shoulder operation. Quite a big procedure and it is unlikely
that she will,be bowling again this year. She is able
to get up and down stairs so less wear and tear on Reg's
legs.
Sylvia.

Mesage from Sylvia with bits from
Barrie. Cath went home this morning. Still very confused.
Not sure how Ray is going to manage her because things are
likely to deteriorate rather than improve as time goes on -
and not sure if Ray is fully aware of the situation . Anyone
in that area - please pop in and say hello.

Spoke to Cath tonight. She very
confused!! Spoke to Reg. Mo doing fine 'bumping her gums' in
the background. Likely to be out of bowling for 4 to 6
months - major tendon problems!! Spoke to Wendy. Roy
Bosworth's partner. Roy was 'conspicuous' by his absence
last friday and a number of members were asking after him..
His back is causing serious 'gip'. I saw and spoke to him
at the hospital on Tuesday last week and he has 'polyps' in
his bowel area which is also causing extreme pain. I have
asked them if they need any help to contact us. Thank you
AGAIN Sylvie AND Allan for all you do for our members.
